Wallet & Chains

Supported wallets & blockchain networks.

Wallet

Torque supports one connection path: Continue with Email, which creates a Torque Wallet — a smart account. For the full list of supported chains, see Chains. Gasless flows use Torque's sponsorship policy, which controls which chains are enabled and spending limits.

One address everywhere: A Torque Wallet is one smart account address you use across the app. Recovery: Access is tied to your email; re-verify with email OTP to regain access.

What is a smart account?

A smart account is an ERC-4337 smart contract wallet: it can initiate transactions, have gas sponsored (so you don't need native tokens for fees), and support features like social recovery and batched transactions. Torque's infrastructure powers your Torque Wallet so it works gaslessly where implemented.

Wallet Connection Guide

How do I connect?

Continue with Email: Enter your email → complete OTP → a Torque Wallet (smart account) is created. Gas is sponsored where implemented via Torque's policy.

Disconnecting

To disconnect:

  1. Click on your connected wallet address in the app
  2. Select "Disconnect"

Smart account

Torque Wallet is an ERC-4337 smart account. Gas sponsorship and relay are handled by Torque's infrastructure.

Troubleshooting

Wallet Connection Issues

Problem: Wallet won't connect
Solution: Refresh page, clear cache, try different wallet
Problem: Wrong network selected
Solution: Switch network in wallet, then refresh Torque

Chain-Specific Issues

Problem: High gas fees
Solution: Consider using Layer 2 (Base, Arbitrum) for lower fees
Problem: Token not showing on chain
Solution: Token may not be supported on that chain, check token contract

Security Best Practices

  • Verify Network: Always verify you're on the correct network
  • Check Addresses: Double-check recipient addresses before sending
  • Hardware Wallets: Use hardware wallets for large amounts
  • Multi-Sig: Consider multi-sig for shared wallets
  • Private Keys: Never share private keys or seed phrases
