Sub-Accounts

Sub-accounts let Pro users create extra wallets under one Torque login. Each account has its own balance and deposit addresses. Switching accounts changes which pocket you are using — not which network. Inside each account, Torque still shows one balance and routes automatically.

What They Are

  • PrimaryYour main account (often labeled Personal). Created with your sign-in. Used for your public profile and rebate payouts. Cannot be removed.
  • Additional accountsNamed pockets such as Trading or Rent. Each has a separate balance and receive addresses. Creating them requires Torque Pro.

How To Use Them

In app.torque.fi/wallet:

  1. Open Wallet. In the Torque app, go to Wallet. Use New Account to create another pocket (Pro required).
  2. Switch accounts. Tap an account chip on Wallet, or use Switch Account in the header when you have more than one.
  3. Add money. Deposit into the active account. The QR and addresses belong to that pocket only.
  4. Trade or send. Balances and limits follow the active account. Other accounts are not spent automatically.
  5. Move between accounts. Use Move To… on Wallet, then complete the transfer to another account you own.

Primary Account

  • Primary is your main account and cannot be archived or deleted.
  • Public profile holdings and static @username receive use Primary.
  • Rebate volume from all accounts counts toward your tier; payouts settle to Primary.
  • Card and some advanced products may use Primary only until they support multi-account.

Common Situations

  • Making a non-Primary account your public profile receive target (today)
  • Shared family access to someone else’s sub-accounts

FAQ

Is this the same as picking a network?

No. Account switch chooses which money pocket you are in. Inside an account, Torque still uses one balance across supported networks and routes for you.

Do I need Pro for Sub-Accounts?

Everyone has Primary. Creating additional accounts requires Torque Pro. If Pro lapses, existing accounts remain usable; new creates are blocked until you renew.

Can Trade spend from all accounts at once?

No. Trade, send, and deposit follow the active account. To use funds from another pocket, switch to it or Move first.

Are partner end-user wallets the same thing?

No. Integrator end-user wallets are separate product users under a business. Sub-accounts are extra pockets for one human login in the Torque app.

Where do I manage accounts?

Wallet in the Torque app: create, switch, deposit, and Move. The header Switch Account control appears when you have more than one account.
